About Wake the Royalty

Wake the Royalty game is a physics-based puzzle game by island. The game is a free online browser type and can provide hours of entertainment with attractive artwork and a relaxing soundtrack. The game is from the same mind that brought us; Wake the Box: Eugene Karataev, and is just as wonderful as its predecessor. The game features a circular Queen, square King, and a triangular Prince, all of whom must be awoken by the use of strategy and skill.

Wake the Royalty 1 game is controlled by the mouse. The goal of the game is to awaken all of the royal family in each level. Some levels just have a prince, while other levels have an entire family of royalty. The use of physics and wooden pieces are combined to knock the royals off their perches and out of their deep slumbers.

Each level has one or more pieces of wood to add to the already depicted pieces. For instance, some round pieces may be used to weigh down another piece or knock the royal off of their perch. A wooden block could set a pendulum in motion to upset the slumbering character. To place the wooden pieces, players simply press the mouse key when they have it situated in the desired spot. Wooden pieces will have a red "x" on them when the spot chosen is not available for placement. The game is simple and there is a "Restart Level" icon that can be helpful. In the top of the screen are sleep meters.

Each royal person has their own meter and once they all are full of "Zz's," the level is completed. There are a total of twenty-five levels, each with increasing intensity. Once each level is unlocked, they can be returned to at any time for replay. The game also offers a link to a video walkthrough, which should only be used if you get really stuck.

The animation of Wake the Royalty 1 is one of the driving forces behind the success of the game. It is done very 'softly', and the characters add to the amusement. Pair that with the 'lullaby' of a soundtrack, and Wake the Royalty just might be one of the most peaceful games on the market. Wake the Royalty is the new edition of the Wake the Box series and follows in the same format, but brings added levels and characters to gamers. The game is a good activity for all ages, as well as any skill level.

If you enjoyed completing the first game, why not try wake up the royalty 2 and wake up the royalty 3.
